Cancellation Policy

SME Help Now — Free 30 Minute Business Advice Session Terms & Conditions Last updated: 22 January 2026 These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the free 30 minute business advice session (“Session”) offered by SME Help Now (“we”, “us”, “our”) to eligible participants (“you”, “your”). By booking or attending a Session, you agree to these Terms. 1) Eligibility 1.1 The Session is available to New Zealand based small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and business owners or authorised representatives aged 18+ who have not previously taken a free Session with us. 1.2 We may request reasonable information to verify eligibility and may decline a booking at our discretion (e.g., conflicts of interest, capacity constraints). 2) Purpose and scope 2.1 The Session is a short introductory consultation designed to provide general business insights based on the information you share. 2.2 The Session is not a substitute for tailored professional advice (e.g., legal, tax, financial, HR, or regulated advisory). It provides general guidance only. 2.3 Any ongoing or in depth work beyond the Session will be subject to a separate engagement letter or services agreement. 3) No fee and no obligation 3.1 The Session is provided free of charge and without obligation to purchase additional services. 3.2 We reserve the right to end the Session at the scheduled time (30 minutes) and to limit the number of questions or topics covered. 4) Booking, rescheduling & cancellations 4.1 Sessions are available by appointment only via our booking channel(s). 4.2 You may reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before the appointment time. 4.3 Missed appointments or cancellations within 24 hours may render you ineligible for another free Session. 4.4 We may reschedule or cancel for reasons including availability, illness, or technology issues. We will try to give reasonable notice. 5) Information you provide 5.1 You are responsible for ensuring any information you provide is accurate, complete and not confidential to third parties without their consent. 5.2 You must not share information that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes another party’s rights. 6) Confidentiality 6.1 We will treat non public information you share in the Session as confidential and use it only to deliver the Session and related administration, except where disclosure is required by law or professional obligations. 6.2 Because the Session is short and informal, do not disclose highly sensitive information.
